Day 1: 1/1/13
So I decided to set up a new blog for this year as the last one would be way too long otherwise! I was going to call it lorglynn13 but changed my mind at the last minute as I thought that might bring bad luck!
I can't believe it's January already- time is just flying! Time for New Years Resolutions. I don't know what mine are- probably......have fun, see and do as much as I can, scrounge money from somewhere!! The same one we all have every year would have to be thrown in aswell- lose weight!
I got up late this morning even though I woke at 7 with various messages coming through! That's the problem with this time difference! I also spent half the morning laughing at a video of Shane ringing home that Cliona put up on Facebook. He's quite the fan of children's tv songs!! I was chatting to him aswell today and he seemed to be in good form and had good Craic ringing in the new year!
When I got myself sorted I went over to Mikes house as I had been invited for a big roast dinner that Siobhan was cooking. She put on a lovely spread- roast chicken, veg, gravy and gorgeous roast spuds!!
We sat back then and watched Dara O Briain. He was good. I don't think it was as good as his first two DVDs. It was like the last one- some really good bits and some okay bits. We also watched a DVD of Brendan O Caroll that Mike had. It was okay but filthy dirty!
I came back home then and skyped Mam, Margaret and Padraigh. They were all in good form after the New Year celebrations. Nana went into hospital yesterday though for a drip so hopefully she'll feel better after some tlc in there.
I spent a while on the computer then setting up this new page and updating my itinerary and stuff. Busy busy! It sounds very official or something when I have an itinerary!!
