Ciao! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend :) Today we went to the Boboli Gardens and the Piazzo Pitti for class! We took our lunches and had a little picnic in the gardens, and discussed the paper we're writing - it's about the Medici Tombs, and then we went into the Pitti Palace and toured the costumes exhibit. That was really neat - it had the clothing/costumes dating from Renaissance time, to the 80's. I loved the 18th century and the early 20th century dresses the most. I wish I could have taken photos there as well. Thankfully - and obviously - we were allowed to take photos at the gardens. After we were done with the exhibit in Pitti, we were free to wander around the gardens. I wanted to find the rose garden, but never found it before I neded to leave and start working on my paper :( so I will definitely be making another trip. With only 1 week left, I'm starting to stress about all the places I wanted to go and havent yet! I want to make another trip back to the Uffizi for sure. Earlier this morning my roommate Meredith and I did go back to the Medici Chapels, so I at least feel better about seeing it a second time, and that will help with writing my paper too. Well, I'm keeping this short so I can use my time outside or finishing the paper! Love you all!
