We sadly left Adels Grove bright and early and headed for Camooweal and beyond. Talking to the locals was very enlightening and we all think we will retire in 4 years time and just travel. We were all excited to cross the border into NT. After crossing the border we were able to 130 km. Can we do it? Yes we can - camper trailer and all! Still loving this piece of paradise. We drove up to Harry's Lookout and captured a yeti hiding amongst the termite mounds. We thought it was time we went for the Barra. One each would have been perfect - alas to no avail. We did want to spin behind the canoes but as it was a national park we weren't allowed to fish!. Happy birthday Steve! What could be more special than canoeing down the Lawn Hill Gorge looking at the fabulous scenery. Unfortunately we were unable to swim at Indarri Falls due to a recent crocodile incident. It still feels unbelievable that we had the chance to do something so amazing. We all agreed it was one of the best things we had done.

On the road into Adels Grove, we finally got to do some river crossings and were mesmerised by the beauty of them. It was just like pictures in travel brochures and it was a surreal moment to realise we were here doing the crossing. Gum trees interspersed with palm trees and yukkas back dropping the crystal clear water was just beautiful. A rough road in but absolutely worth the effort - paradise!.
