A change in plans with road closures has altered our journey away from Lambert Centre, Mount Dare and Dalhousie Springs which although annoying is out of our hands.

After shopping and sightseeing around Alice Springs, including a visit to the library and meeting some locals, we left a Town called Alice and headed towards Uluru. We would not reach Yulara so headed for a bush camp at the Henbruy Meteorite Craters. The Craters had limited camp sites so we decided to move along.

It ticked all the boxes - remote, no trains, planes and automobiles, too many other campers, cockatoos or generators. It even had a personal gazebo, tables and chairs, BBQ, fire place and toilets - **** star accommodation - surely it's too good to be true!
