Today's journey saw us pass through Windorah, Jundah and Stonehenge. It was interesting to read that Stonehenge is one of three areas chosen by the Defence Department for Over the Horizon radar initiative which helps guards Australia's coastline.

Arriving in Longreach, we booked into the caravan park for a two night stay with more washing, restocking the fridge, freezing water bottles and organising meals for the next few days whilst heading to Mt Isa.

Usually when you visit a caravan park you have seagulls, magpies and sparrow's but here at Longreach we have Brolga's emu's and kangaroos. We even decided to eat out for the first time and enjoyed a meal at the restaurant alongside the caravan park.
