We hit the road again around lunchtime, headed for Longreach. Beautiful landscape which seemed to change colour and foliage. Of course we had to collect samples of the red dirt along the way. This leg we have seen the most wildlife with lots of wedged tail eagles, pigs, blue flyer kangas, bid red kangas, brolgas and a goanna. We travelled past the Rain Serpent at Beetoota and decided to look for a bush camp.

Best bush camp ever - we even had a movie night and settled down to watch the Monument Men.
