Leaving our lovely apartment early we managed to see a few of the standard distance triathletes cycling past as we headed to the station. Other triathletes were manoeuvring there bikes through the station and making the short trip to the airport. The airport was very busy but although the flight was a bit delayed we arrived with the bike back in one piece in London, and we even managed to get past Oxford without too much trouble. Lisbon had been a great destination for a triathlon, the location in Parc de Nacoise was brilliant, with our accommodation and all the facilities very close and the weather was good sunny but not too hot. Graham was very happy with his result and looking forward to his next adventure cycling LEJOG.
