Hello eveyone!

Got here safe and sound, with no travel problems at all. The 9 hour wait in Dubai was very tiring, and we were not allowed to sleep! The cleaners kept telling us off! The hotel is nice, right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. The room is very basic, but fine. Got up at 8am this morning, and had 3 courses at the hotel buffet breakfast, including Pad Thai (Thai noodles). Within 15 minutes of stepping outside the hotel door, we were bombarded by Thai tailors, and tuk tuk drivers. Whilst subtly looking at the map, 2 thai men swarmed in to tell us about what attractions are near and to discuss the ridiculous prices of Scottish whiskey in Thailand! We discovered that the temples are free today,since its Buddists' day! So might go try find some. Just exploring today and getting our bearings. Currently, trying to find Khaosan Road, the Backpacker Central. One problem, no where is signposted and every street looks the same!
