hello,

we arrived at lampang today at lunchtime, after a hot and sweaty 4hour bus journey. the hotel is nice and on arrival we ate yet another thai buffet (cant wait for a pizza or something). this afternoon some of the group opted for a traditional thai massage. this was amazing, and it only cost 4pounds! we had a couples massage in the same room, which was fun as we couldn't understand anything the thai ladies were saying! thai massage is a mix between yoga and massage, so we were put in some interesting positions! lauren found it hard not to laugh at me saying "ah yeah, thats a good one", when being forced into a new stretch. we are currently back at the hotel, waiting to go to dinner with the group in Lampangs centre. tomorrow we head to either chiang mai or chiang rai, we are not quite sure! we know that tomorrow involves a visit to an elephant conservation centre. we are both really looking forward to the elephant ride through jungles and rivers.

we have tried to upload photos again tonight, but the computer will not read the memory cards. we'll try once again in chiang mai/rai.
