hello everyone and welcome to our last blog!

we are loving singapore, it is probably the nicest city we have been to. It is amazingly clean, with some very cool buildings, and has a great underground transport system (100 times nicer than london's underground). It is a very wealthy country, with a lot of business, and actually quite a few british people come here to work. The english is excellent and is spoken everywhere, making things a lot easier. We arrived on Monday morning by bus, and explored Chinatown in the afternoon. Our hotel is awesome! It's a holiday inn, but probably one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Yesterday, we went to explore the marina, and colonial centre. We then caught a glass-bottom cable car over to sentosa island, where we spent most of the day. Its a tourist island with lots of attractions like rollercoasters, underwater world, and the dolphin lagoon (the dolphins were pink). Nothing compared to florida's parks, however this island is the southern most point of asia, so we thought it was worth a visit. Today we are wandering around Orchard Road, the main shopping district. All designer shops like Gucci, Prada etc, so just window shopping. Going to the airport tonight, just putting off time until then.
