I felt obliged to wake Heather up this morning- I don't know whether she would have wanted me to but I was concerned that it would make Hamish miss the bus. This meant it was another of those days where things were late getting started, especially as Christie came round for a cup of coffee before we started doing anything. Gathering hazelnuts after that was a very relaxing task, and so I offered to do more as well as doing the bread after lunch, so I actually caught up on some of the hours I feel I owe.
