Now at the drop off for the van! We fly to Hong Kong this evening.
We stopped off at Christchurch, where the shops have been rebuilt in containers. The damage after 2 years is still vast and the main attractions of the the city are not open yet. No cathedral, no art gallery etc. hence we are early at the drop off. Amazing to see how much has been pulled together and also how much still needs to be demolished and rebuilt.

Marion Rapson This blog has been so much fun to follow. I am so envious of you all on your trip of a lifetime but have thoroughly enjoyed being able to share in it a little through Ray's photo's and Janet's blog entries. You have probably heard, Heather, that Breakspeare had Ofsted in last week. I was asked to see them as the governor with responsibility forSafeguarding. The lead inspector was very slimy - the sort that is always trying to catch you out with what they think are clever questions!! Anyway, they clearly couldn't find too much wrong 'cause they got another Outstanding :). Enjoy the rest of your trip. Have a safe journey home, Love Marion & family xx
