So the transports not the best around these islands.. But it took us 2 days to travel from Boracay to El Nido, starting with a 5am start to catch a ferry.. A 4 hour bus journey to kalibo to fly to Cebu.. 26hr stop over at Cebu to catch a flight to Puerto Pricesa and finally finished off with a 7hr local bus with no ac to El nido.. From what I'd heard of the island I thought it was going to be like Koh Phangan again, just westerners filling the beach, boozing and ruining the island.. Turns out it's not that bad, yet. One thing I've really wanted to do whilst I've been in Asia is a sea fishing day trip. A few people from the hotel were up for it as well and set a date! The owner of the hostel is away in America and we've got pretty friendly with his friend Adam who's looking over the hotel while he's away. Now the hotel hosts a party every Friday as the pre party for jungle party just down the road, it was that busy that I ended up helping behind the bar and dishing out shots etc.. So Adam was paying me in free beers and free shots.. Had a wicked night! But way too many shots for my liking and paid for it the next day.. Ah well...
