So the transports not the best around these islands.. But it took us 2 days to travel from Boracay to El Nido, starting with a 5am start to catch a ferry.. A 4 hour bus journey to kalibo to fly to Cebu.. 26hr stop over at Cebu to catch a flight to Puerto Pricesa and finally finished off with a 7hr local bus with no ac to El nido.. Yeah I had no energy left by the time I arrived!! But the travel was worth the wait! The beaches here, like the rest of the Philippines are beautiful. Except it's way less touristy than Boracay.
The main thing to do here is the island hopping. The first tour we did was tour C which took us to some amazing spots. But before we could see these hidden beaches.. We had to navigate our way though a minefield of jellyfish.. Literally hundreds of jellyfish.. Which wasn't helped by the females just screaming the whole way and using us as barriers if they saw one come close.. But the beach was worth the effort. As it was only waist height we walked through and tucked round the corner was an untouched white beach surrounded by cliff faces. Our second location was secret beach. A hidden beach which we had to swim through a 10m underwater tunnel which came up into a hidden lagoon with another untouched white beach.. I just had a load of fun swimming underwater and coming in in this hidden place.. Truly Feeling like your an explorer! Myself, Jordan and nick left the main area and swam further round the corner and found 2 other inlets we could swim through. The second led to a small opening which was only just over shoulder width wide which we managed to swim though and come out the other side of the cliff. Although all three of us kicked it and cut our foot on the way out.. It was well worth it and the most fun I'd had in a long time.!
The 2nd day we rounded up some people we met on the first tour and people we'd met on nights out and organised tour B. There were less people on the tour but knowing everyone on the boat was pretty cool. Because tour B was less popular. It meant there were less people going to the islands.. So we didn't have to share any of the beaches with anyone. They took us to a cave which we had to climb through a small opening and we found ourselves in an enclosed area.. Like being in the bat cave.! When we reached the final beach, we had finished off a bottle of rum and decided to put a message in a bottle.. We all took it in turns to write a line each, only about 4 words and had to try and add but also leave it open ended so it could carry on.. It was a super random message but funny... Things you do on a deserted island to keep yourself entertained..

Ina Well I'd like to apologize for using you guys as our barriers. I wasn't mentally prepared for creatures that sting ;-)
