One of the things you forget about major cities; and the thing I like about Kuala Lumpur is how bloody tall the building are! And how many there are in the city centre. I remember when we arrived in KL and being dropped outside a sky scraper.. And was actually a Hilton. A hotel... The number of tall buildings going up in KL is mad! None as impressive as the Petronius twin towers! Two ginormous buildings with an interlinking bridge around the 40th floor.. How on earth they continue building up to nearly 100 floors is beyond me! We managed to stay out all day on Chinese New Year and got to watch the twin towers as they started to light up at night. We were also treated to a special water show as it was Chinese New Year.. I love free stuff!
