Wednesday 26th August - Hop On Bus

We caught the bus and this one was open up top except that it had a Perspex roof. Bloody hell was it hot. We were so hot and thought that we should get off the bus at stop 12 and walk the 300m to our hotel but somehow we got off 2 stops early and ended up at the Duomo.

The church was magnificent and a vivid white stone and so big. Just walking around outside was stifling and after our photos were taken walked towards the Gallerie Vitoria Emanuel.
This also was unbelievable. So big and palatial and all the BIG named stores were there. Gucci, Hermes, Louis Vutton

Went out for dinner to Boabab where we both had salads, tuna and chicken. We were given a complimentary Sangria, a bit like Mulled Wine only cold and with fruit and ice blocks. Jan had a glass of Calice Vino Blanco and I had a Poretti beer. All very nice.
