Another very early start today, not sure what day it is, I am that tired! am thinking I'll need to take another week when back in Ireland to recover! We drove into Torquay for some breakie, I had a 'Sunday stack' which which had poached eggs, bacon, hash browns, BBQ sauce, onion and tomato in a massive stack...unreal and a perfect hangover cure! Very very early wake up today at 8am, hostel stay was lovely, no noise, singing or dancing! Headed to Apollo Bay for breakie to a nice cafè where I think we all have scrambles eggs with bacon! Delicious! Our first stop on Great Ocean Road was Gibsons steps, a great look out point but the actual steps were closed but a little gate didn't stop the 4 Irish from getting a better look! Decided to give the oul lie in a miss this morning! Got up at 8am and went out for run. Was an excellent morning for it..run on banks of Yarra river onto the running area for Melbourne called 'the tan' (due to it's brown pathway, think it's made of sand). The loop is about 4km...it was my first run this holiday so was a bit surprised how easy it was, especially since I had a heavy strapping on my hamstring, but didn't feel a thing.
