Had a little sleep in today for our last day in Sydney..we really enjoyed it - Patrick and Lou were certainly hosts with the most!!! Lou kindly dropped us to airport during "work" which saved us a lot of hassle getting through Sydney. We said our goodbyes - we'll them both again in April '12 when they get hitched :-) Flight back to Melkbourne was very short - just ove an hour. We hopped on the shuttle bus into Southern Cross station and had about a 25 minute walk back to Sinead and Davids apartment. Bags were very heavy on our backs!

Carol begun the long process of transferring our 3000+ photos from the memory cards to a laptop..about 14Gb of photos! I went for 12km run on the tan, absolutly lovely day for it but really felt my calves cutting up near the end!

We met Sinead and David back at the apartment after work and we all got ready for the Neighbours quiz night! The tickets were 40 dollars and you get a free half pint..luck would have it, David wasnt drinking and the girls were drinking something else! Thank you very much ;-)

We got to meet Alan Fletcher, aka Dr Karl Kennedy from the show, and 2 other guys - David and I had asked questions which were read out except we wrote them for each other..Under Davids name I asked "Dr. Karl, I have a horrible red rash on my arse, do you have any medication..", under my name David asked "I hear Ringo (one of the other stars) has a hard 6 pack, could i have a feel?" - so off I went, up on stage to feel his 6 pack! Embarrassment!

Alan Fletchers band played after the quiz (which we won and won Neighbours tour ticket) which was quite cool. They are called the "Waiting Room".
