I reached Belorado in just about 6 hours today. Again, it was a relatively easy trek. Much of the route paralleled a highway, but since it is Sunday, traffic was not as heavy as it might be otherwise. Oh what an easy day. I made it to Najera in just under 4 hours. Now that's more like it! I stopped in a cafe and ate lunch. Omg! What a life. The route today was relatively level and much of it was beside the highway, so a bit noisy. The trail was a dirt road that traveled thru farmland - mostly olive groves and wine vineyards. It took a good two hours to reach Logrono and another hour and a half to reach the other side. Logrono is a fair sized city and many people trekked on yesterday and stayed there rather than stopping in Viana. The way was not so well marked thru the city and I had to ask several times.
