Today we were blessed with awesome people here in Mt Isa! RACQ have been outstanding, even checking up to see how we were this morning, and booking us another nights accomodation. The mechanic workshop where our caravan was towed to, had removed the broken suspension arm first thing this morning even though they were snowed under with work. I then brought the part to the Engineering Workshop for repair and they couldn't have been more helpful. They advised removing the other suspension arm as well so that it could be strengthened the same to prevent that arm from breaking. I phoned the mechanic again and he immediately removed the other suspension arm ready for me to pick up. The Engineering workshop repaired the broken arm and then strengthened both arms and they were back to the mechanic by 3pm. This is a repair that potentially could've taken days or more! Both of these businesses are big workshops in Mt Isa and very busy with other jobs. Everyone we dealt with today has been so friendly and happy to help us with our problem, it's been amazing! We have been so blessed that this problem has been fixed so quickly and easily! We are leaving Mt Isa tomorrow morning with a totally different opinion of this Town than when we arrived!
