Yesterday we left Rocky Creek Memorial Park near Tolga and travelled further south through Atherton and onto the Savannah Way to Ravenshoe. We decided to drive further to Innot Hot Springs and stay overnight. Unfortunately the caravan park is a bit run down and we saw many holiday makers pull in and drive straight out again! The hot springs are nice, there is the natural spring flowing gently behind the caravan park itself and then there are 7 man made pools in total, 4 very hot pools housed in a building and 3 other pools with varying temperatures to quite cool. Apparently new owners (they own the adjacent station) have recently purchased the caravan park and the pub across the creek and have plans to refurbish both. Hopefully it will be a beautiful place to stop in the future. Today we are meeting up with Chook and Nat again and travelling together for a couple of weeks before we go our separate ways at Cloncurry.
