This morning we decided to leave Lismore and travel our final leg home. We said goodbye to Kellie's family and then we hit the road north. Wow, this is it, our final 300km of our 27,600km journey around our beautiful Big Country! We stopped off at the Coomera Super Service Centre on the motorway for a break before continuing on to surprise my Mum and Dad. We hadn't had any contact with my family for a couple of weeks so they didn't know we were arriving today. We arrived at Mum and Dad's place with a beep of the horn and they both came out very happy to see us again after our 6 month journey. Even though we have now completed our journey around Australia, it's difficult for us to believe the awesome places our super reliable Suzuki Grand Vitara has taken us. We have seen amazing sights, travelled many lonely roads, endured extreme heat, met some great people and made some awesome new friends. It's a shame it is now all over, but as they say, "All good things come to and end!"
