Today the rain seemed to follow us wherever we went. First off we went to see Lake Moraine which is the lake featured on the Canadian $20 bill. It is surrounded by 10 mountain peaks and is filled with glacier water giving it the beautiful turquoise blue colour. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there - but of course as soon as we left we saw the sun behind us.

There were little critters there called Pikas - a distant relative of the rabbit.

We then headed to Lake Louise and it was sunny when we got there but first we had lunch at the truck and returned a phone call and wouldn't you know it when we were ready to head down to see the lake it was raining!

Spent the afternoon in a laundromat catching up with chores and luckily they had wifi there so I could get the blog updated.
