Right we are currently on the Kiwi Experience doing the 'Whole Kit and Caboodle' basically the whole of NZ bar a couple of small sections. First stop was the Bay of Islands, also known as Paihia. Its a really beautiful area made up of well over 100 different islands most of which you are not allowed on because of the Maori heritage.

First day was spent on the bus getting there and then having a BBQ so everyone could get to know one another. It was a really fun group. I was staying in a room with 1 other bloke and 5 women so you can imagine my excitement haha! After a while this excitement diminished when I realised I had to book in to get to the toilet or have a shower because of all the makeup and hair dryer action that was going on! Needless to say everyone got on really well.

We went on a boat called the Excitor, which is basically a really fast jet boat that they take out into the Sea. We got some serious air time because of the swell. Alot of fun but quite expensive! There was so much swell that we weren't allowed to drive through the 'hole in the rock' which is what the Bay of Islands is famous for.
