We're back! After 4225 miles and 36 days.
The weather this morning was looking cold (8 degrees) and wet, and it didn't seem a good day for the twisty route option. So, we decided to do the final 400 miles in one go - took about 9 hours. We we're a bit shocked by the extortionate 'turn up and go' Eurotunnel price - £91 per bike (worth remembering for next time).
Nice to be back home for a bit. No more loading and unloading our luggage every night. But, it has been a great adventure!
Now have a week to get training for the next part of our sabbatical - 5 days mountain biking in northern France.
