Back at the airport waiting for our flight home:-(!

Back at Starbucks using the free Wifi. The man sitting next to us is busy researching which hand gun to buy! Went off to Hollywood today. Saw the famous sign and the stars on the Walk of Fame. This afternoon headed back to Santa Monica. There's much more to do here and it's a lot nicer! Heading back home tomorrow!

Spent the afternoon 'cruising' down the seafront on our very cool rental bikes! Went past Venice Beach and the Venice canals. Have just been to see Skyfall at the cinema and are now listening to the buskers and using the free Wifi in Starbucks.

Tues (20:50) - It's been a long Tues, 41 hours so far and still a few to go! We're now in Los Angeles and are staying in Santa Monica. What a contrast to New Zealand, very busy and cars everywhere. Took almost an hour to travel the 8 miles from the airport by taxi. Hadn't realised that it's Thanksgiving on Thursday, which partly explains the traffic congestion and why our hotel is so expensive. It is in a good location though, 5 mins walk from the seafront a...
