Relaxing day today wandering around the town and avoiding the sun - its very hot here! Jane has now got some baklava cake so that's another one to cross off the list.

This is the road to our hotel (see video once we have been able to upload it). We thought that by choosing a hotel only 60 metres from the ferry port we would avoid too many problems. We got that wrong! It seems that everywhere we go they are re-doing the roads!

Hurray! We've made it to Asia - 2830 miles.

Our rather stressful afternoon turned into a good evening out in Edirne. Got talking to a sales director from Istanbul who was in Edirne on business. He very kindly helped explain the menu and then invited us to try some very strong Turkish coffee (which was very nice). Sag olun, Gokay! Just been for a quick walk round the town before heading to Canakkale.

A day of two halves. This morning left our nice hotel and travelled down through Bulgaria through the Shipka pass. It has to be one of the best motorcycle roads in the world. After lunch at Lidl we chose to go down a "white road" that was labelled as beautiful on the map. It had many potholes and at one point was completely dug up (see video).
