We woke and quickly rushed out of the campsite without paying (we didn't even find the toilets until the morning). We chose to do a 4km walk down the thr bottom of a huge waterfall, it was fun to walk under it. We saw several skinks on the way and a big Monitor being chased by a Kookaburra. It was a roasting hot day, so we were shattered byb the time we got back to the top. We went for lunch at a strange café run by a strange Dutch guy (only him so we waited fir ages and got an OK chicken kebab). We then went to some lookouts with Panoramic views oiut to the coast and sat and had pancakes at a nice café with bright red and blue rosillas in the trees. Again we hit the road south to Surfers Paradise to see Ste and Zarena. We went out for food....$5 roast. We sat and talked at theirs, over a few beers it was good to catch up and compare Oz stories.
