We've spent over half a year in the new house now and love it - there is STILL work to be done... the stairs still have the yellow drywall fixes and still need to be painted. We've been working away slowly at our long list of items to finish/fix and a big one has been completet just yesterday: the suite has passed all inspections and we have it rented out since last night!

We've also sold our old little house and already handed over possession. That went all a bit faster than we had expected and we weren't even able to raid our old garden for some plants - we'll have to try and find a way to get some once the soil has thawed.

Jason retired again at the end of February and has since been working away at finishing the workshop and cleaning up the garage (the dumping ground during the move).

We are currently planning the summer gardening work, hoping to turn our wild weed backyard into something livable - for starters with a patio and one bottom retaining wall. It has been a mild winter and a warm spring so hopefully we'll be able to start digging soon.
