It's been a while since our last entry and even though there hasn't been much visible progress from the outside, things have been moving along nicely.

Jason has been working hard and over a blistering (literally) hot long weekend installed all the roofing material - we hadn't realized until now just how much "roof" we have (main roof, balcony, deck and entry roof). He finished just in time before some heavy rain started.

What else has happened since our last entry: the basement floor gravel was levelled, we put in an overflow in the garage, the complete lower floor was sprayfoamed and rebar was put in on all three floors. Jason and various helpers (Thomas - flown in from Switzerland, Jane and myself) layed all the infloor piping for the radiant floor heating - good quality work that easily passed the city inspection :-). Thomas and Jason also put in electrical chases to facilitate access to exterior walls once the concrete floors have been poured.

The concrete pour is only a few days away, our windows should finally be delivered at the end of September, we had the plumber and HVAC (heating and ventilation) guys over at the house and discussed all the vent and pipe locations - there is a lot happening at the moment.
