The house is locked up, all the windows and doors are in. We've finally installed the five exterior blinds for the large SW facing windows. That was quite the undertaking with us having to design and order custom metal window sills and our builder never having worked with these blinds before. I will post some pictures soon.
Most of the interior framing is done, so is the rough-in plumbing, the ventilation has been installed and work is currently done on putting in all the manifolds for the in-floor heating lines.
Jason and I are working down our to-do list of all the items that need to be installed/finished/discussed before we can get started on the drywall install. One of the big items on that list is the electrical and with some advise/help of a semi-retired certified electrician, we've started wiring the house. Who would have thought how complicated this could be and what were we thinking when we designed all these three- and four-way switches?!?! We spend many weekends at the house drilling holes, pulling wires, hooking up plugs.... it's an adventure and there is a lot to learn - we both love it!
