Things are coming together. Jason and his dad worked crazy hours and primed and painted the whole place, walls & ceilings! That was so much hard work - had we known how hard it is to get to some of these high ceilings in the staircase... I am not sure our house design would look the same .

We have a crew working on the exterior panelling - the stucco work has already been finished. The tile setter is working on the showers, our electrician (read: Barbara) has been wiring receptacles and switches and our finishing carpenter (read: Jason) installed countertops and is currently working on installing the baseboards. We have finally managed to line someone up for the front exterior landscaping and the remaining trades have all been scheduled (plumber, exterior railing, "real" electrician).

I've even gone as far as starting to pack the odd box in our old house but it freaks Jason out as it actually makes the whole place even more crowded and overfilled (empty cabinets and boxes sitting around)... so I have stopped (almost) the packing.
