No more upgrades for a while. We're off to Switzerland

We've spent over half a year in the new house now and love it - there is STILL work to be done... the stairs still have the yellow drywall fixes and still need to be painted. We had our first bigger party at the new house - a Big Thank You party for all the family and friends that had in some way contributed to make our new home what it is today: Thank you! August 19, 2012 we inofficially moved into the new house (for those who are concerned, we have since legalized our status...). We made it, but barely. Just as I wrote that things are coming together in our last blog entry - things just about came apart (read: got blown up). It was a memorable July 19th: Trip to the dump - always a crowd pleaser Health and Safety officers on site because of the exterior finishing crew - we already knew they were total losers, so no surprise there 911 on site because the landscaper ripped our gasline apart, neighbours had to evacuate homes - as if they didn't hate us already...
