Such a jampacked week with Nic landing in Singapore and then we covered Johor, Putrajaya, KL and still have Penang this weekend!

We reached KL on Wednesday afternoon and checked in to our hotel. We went out for some local food and saw the twin towers! We wandered through Pavilion too which is always so great at night time!

Thursday we spent most of the day out and about. After breakfast at the hotel we headed out to Batu Caves. The trains were a bit of a hassle but we got there eventually! Nic loved the monkeys!! In the afternoon we went to Merdeka Square and I gave Nic a rundown of all the Malay history I've learnt! We also went out to Bangsar and had some waffles which ticked off one thing I wanted to do before leaving! Then in the evening we went and did sushi train in between watching the light shows at the KLCC park - so amazing even after seeing it so many times!!

Friday morning we had breakfast and I spent some time studying. Yes I sat my first exam today but it was fine haha I'll write about exams separately! Afterwards we went to KL Sentral and ate at Dubiyo for dinner because Nic was keen to try Korean. Our flight to Penang leaves at 10 so we caught the bus out and are hanging around the airport waiting for fly off! Super excited to visit Penang - I'm leaving Langkawi until Rosh and Dev's wedding which is exciting - I've heard great things about both!!
