My first week has flown by in a blur! It's all super different but I'm here and I'm sure it's all gonna be great!

Day 1: I left Sydney and landed in Malaysia very hot and very much freaking out haha my first night I stayed at the Pullman in Bangsar. Dad and I stayed here in October and it's super close to campus so it was easy - plus gotta love buffet breakfast!

Day 2: The next morning I headed to campus. It's about a 20 minute walk to the central part where the International Student Centre (ISC) is. I got told that yep the college had a room for me and I was all set for orientation in a few days. I grabbed a campus map and walked up to KK10. I got my keys and checked out my room - a single room with ensuite bathroom but very prison-like with cement floors and walls, furniture stuck in place and even bars on the windows (although I know they're there to keep the monkeys out!!). I walked back to the hotel and packed my suitcase and checked out. I got a taxi to drive me to college given the luggage sitch. I spent most of the afternoon unpacking. It was raining outside so no more exploring! For dinner I didn't really know what to do or where to go so I ordered in - only ever did it once in Sydney but day two in Malaysia there I was!!

Day 3 and 4: I spent some time getting my classes sorted and confirming plans for orientation. I walked around campus heaps trying to get my bearings and time myself to/from class and to the nearby LRT station etc. There are more people moving in soon so hopefully will make some friends but the people I've seen around so far have been super lovely!
