Okay so despite being an awesome uni student who completed a 3 year degree and is now onto her second I have only sat 4 exams during my life at university. Yep, 4. So exams in Malaysia were cray and thus, a blog.
I did 5 classes and had 5 exams. Here like 90% of classes have exams. And none of this 20% or 30% crap either - 50% or 60%! Intense! At UM there is a dedicated exam building. It's huge! There's I think 4 exam halls and the ones I was in had maybe 400 people in them. They also had a lot more staff than I remember from my couple in Sydney - like 1 staff per 30 students I'd say. Also our lecturers are in the room which is super confronting because when I was like s*** I forget this part, I look up and there is old mate who said all the answers in his lectures!!
All of my exams were 2 hours and thankfully only 1 day I had 2 on. My last one was yesterday (16th) so am glad I'm all done!! My nutrition exam was multiple choice so I had 100 questions and felt pretty confident actually despite only just scraping through in the class tests! My gender exam I wrote the most for. We didn't really get given much of a guide to prepare but with gender studies being my thing I think I did well! One question was about gender in robots which was awesome to write about! My Korean exam was my favourite and Theo e I was most confident on. Our lecturer told us the exam questions so I was really well prepared haha! Also for the first question we got to draw a map of Korea which was wicked and I even took in coloured pencils haha My Chinese religion exam was okay. I would say I wrote a lot of crap haha likeexpanded one basic concept into 7 lines kind of crap! But I think it'll be right - I wrote something for all 3 questions! My Indian history lecturer also gave me the questions beforehand so I was confident with it. I was anyway though because I actually was very interested in learning about all of Indias struggles under the British!!
