Definitely would've liked to have like $10000 more for this visit but had a blast regardless!
I caught the ferry from Hong Kong to Macau in Friday afternoon. It took about an hour but with a travel sickness tablet I didn't do too badly! Once I landed I got a taxi to my hotel. I was upgraded to a suite which was amazing - I had a lounge room, a walk-in robe and a huge spa bath!! I went out and got some food then just chilled in my hotel for a while. I had a spa bath then about 9pm I headed to the casino downstairs - yes downstairs! It was a strange atmosphere in that everyone was just gambling, there wasn't much of a vibe like I've seen in Crown or the Star! I walked up the road to where two casinos were side-by-side. Most tables were playing baccarat which I couldn't understand to say myself, even after googling haha! About 1030pm I jumped a bus to the centre part of Macao where there's a whole bunch of hotels and casinos. I was impressed by one casino which had a much bigger range, I watched roulette for ages. I can't actually gamble/am not interested but it was cool to watch! But strange not to see many people drinking, and also the crowd was mostly older which I've never noticed in Aus before. I went in to a nightclub which wasn't really that happening despite being after midnight already. It was free drink on entry so I did that but then just headed back. I got my taste of it all haha!
Saturday I woke up and had buffet breakfast. The phone in my room had free calls to Australia so I rang grandma which was really nice! I miss her and Grandad and it's so hard over Facebook! I got a late checkout so I stayed until 1pm and had another spa bath haha! I got the ferry back over to Hong Kong about 5pm and headed to my hostel where I've just had a chilled night eating dinner and writing this!
