Watching hummingbirds whilst eating breakfast on the patio is a good start to the day. We're soon making our way down to one of our favourite cities, San Francisco. Stinson Beach was beautiful but the Great White Shark warning sign at the entrance kind of put us off even paddling so we headed to Muir Beach where we watched a bunch of kids enjoying their surf lessons.
Onto Sausilito we enjoyed lunch and the cosmopolitan atmosphere and then drove over the Golden Gate bridge to our hotel.
A walk to Pier 39 through crowds of tourists and locals in the sunshine and revisiting places we had been in 2009 was a great way to spend a few hours but disappointed to find the rumours were true and most of the Sea Lions had vanished :-(
