After leaving our unexpected hotel laden with food for tonight's BBQ (well, garden burgers!) we found a lovely beach at Casper where Imogen invented the new game, Frisball. Having bought a frisbee and already having a ball, two people stand side by side, that being them two, and I use the frisbee to hit it to them and then THEY fight over who is going to catch it!
Cabots Cove (aka Mendocino) our next stop was a lovely place and we spent and hour or two just meandering through the little shops in the town. I can't believe I will now have to watch episode of Murder She Wrote in the afternoons!
Manchester was our stop for the night on a campsite in a Kabin and for those who know me and my aversion to public toilets, not having our own toilet for the dark hours was slightly scary!
We had a lovely walk to the beach and Ray Mears eat your heart out, BBQ and fire pit to cook our burgers and toast our marshmallows was quite fun. All the locals with their ribs and steaks and masses of food whilst we cook four veggie burgers!
None of us slept well but we had fun...
Life is not measured by the amount of breathes we take but by the people and place that take our breathe away...
