After waking up to deer in the hotel car park, we left Oregon and are now just south of the state border in California.
Today we have visited Jedediah State Park to witness the massive Redwood Trees, waited for the tide to go out so we could walk to the lighthouse in Crescent City, walked with a few feet of basking Sea Lions and tonight we are staying in a motel made out of one Redwood tree, the Curly Redwood Lodge.
We are looking forward to ever increasing temperatures as we travel further south and lots more fun...
