Having escaped the horror of the campsite Point Arena was a lovely quiet haven where we watched Harbour Seals from the cliffs.
In Fort Ross we came across a farmers market and bought some yummy goodies for tonight.
Finding a small turning in the road we headed down an unknown road and found a beach at the Russian River Estuary where Harbour Seals basked with their pups on one the deadliest beaches in California. Here we played Frisball before continuing our journey to Point Reyes Station.
Our haven for tonight and tomorrow is Berry Patch Cottage. It is a very peaceful setting and although the gas has run out and we have no hot water, we all smell just as bad as each other, the wine is flowing and we have tomorrow with no driving.
I would also like to wish my very good friend, Helen B, a very happy birthday for tomorrow (today as you UKers are waking up) - have a great one love!!!
