We have finally left Quito after a frustrating few days trying to get the paperwork sorted and signed. This was finally achieved at 5.30 on Friday . it cost us a small fortune to get them but at least we are legal now!
we are planning to stay here tomorrow and then cross the border into Columbia on Monday. Hopefully we won't have problems at the border, fingers crossed.
It hasn't really sunk in that we are back and on the way again. However the sun is shining and we will sleep in the truck for the first time tonight, then we will feel at home.
The last few months have gone so quickly and no doubt the next few months will too.
We really enjoyed being retired and at home, having time to potter and catch up with some jobs.
It is a wrench to leave and say all the goodbyes , but we will be back soon!!!!!!
