Grilled aubergine. Red onions and fresh tomatoes.
Was positioned to be great. Nice presentation. Who doesnt go ohhh when you see food served on a banana leaf :)
Alas the zero seasoning let it down.
My relationship with aubergine has changed dramatically on this trip and now I love it. However this dish harked back to the original reasons I wasn't a fan of aubergine. Bitter. Oily. Slimy gloppy texture.
