Set lunch in town. Finally made it into the big smoke. A nice long walk so worked up an appetite.

Vegetable soup (with the ubiquitous pieces of meat for flavour lol)

It had yucca, green beans carrot onion and a nice broth like taste.
I really like the potato texture and flavour of Yucca. It absorbs the flavour of the soup really well as it doesn't seem to have much of a punch itself.
Going to cook with it this week and see what else it can taste like.
