Having lost my purse, I don't have access to any money until Monday so
this weekend was laid back one consisting mainly of sunbathing on the roof. Saturday, however, was Bev's flight back to England so we had to say our sad goodbyes and promise that we'd meet up in London over the summer. It's strangely quiet without her here but I did take a wander down to the evening market by the Expiatorio with the family. Just a short walk from where I'm staying, El Expiatorio is a beautiful grand church located in downtown Guadalajara. Inside, it's stained glass windows and mighty pillars provoke an astonishing sense of awe whilst outside the square is embellished with a gorgeous fountain, a few quaint cafés, and market stalls on weekend evenings.
