My last day at the orphanage was a sorrowful one, saying goodbye to all the kids I've become close to over this last month. There's Magui, the most advanced of the lot, 6 years old, knows my name and even called me mamma as I was leaving yesterday. Miguelito, the most adorable and well behaved baby in the world. He's quiet and shy but when you pick him up and cuddle him his coy smile doesn't go unnoticed. Luis-Angel is so adorably happy most of the time, his laughter, cliched as it sounds literally is music to our ears. He can't distinguish his emotions very well however, and his laughter often turns to crying, leaving everyone trying to remedy his sadness. Jenni is another complete cutie; giggly and cheeky she thinks it's hilarious to spit her food back out at you. Juanita, Conchis and Xavi are more severely disabled and not so responsive. Nevertheless they still respond to your presence and crave attention, sometimes crying out only for someone to sit with them. I've had an amazing experience at the orphanage and definitely want to return some day. It's sad to leave but at the same time I can't wait to continue with the next part of my adventure. Adios Guadalajara.
