Had a free camp on the Murchison River before going into Kalbarri & meeting up with Steve & Yvonne albeit briefly. They are heading off next morning on their way to Kalgoorlie and home. Kalbarri has been spoilt - with it's river gorges, ocean gorges, perfect bay with white sandy beaches etc etc. It is all so accessible that there is no challenge. P'raps I'm simply 'gorged out' or just 'walked out'. It is a beautiful place. Saw a whale from one of the lookouts - they should be gone by now.

Finally able to get the car serviced in Geraldton next Tuesday & then heading eastwards for home. The weather has turned decidedly cooler!
