Hi,
Still not much to tell. Bowen has become much more bearable this week. As I predicted, work has gone to the other extreme and there is now not so much of it, but I am definitely not complaining. After my scheduled day off on Monday (which was a 15hr shift, so I was very glad I missed it), everybody had Tuesday and Wednesday off because there was nothing to pick. So I had time to go to the beach, plan my trip to New Zealand and buy food etc. On Thursday we started on day shifts and because they don't have enough tomatoes to keep the factory going 24hrs a day, we start at 8am instead of 6, meaning we get up at 6.30, not 4.30! The shifts have also been shorter. Got a day off tomorrow so hopefully I will get to an Internet cafe and put up some photos of Bowen!

Frank & Val Glad things are a bit more calm and you have managed to plan for the next adventure. Hope it all works out at NZ luv xx V&F
Nan & Gdad Photos are great and you are looking very tanned. Can you still eat tomatoes or are you put off for life now! Gdad just had steroid injections in both hips so is a bit sore today. From this, in time, the doctors should be able to see if he needs hip replacements or if his problems are caused by something else. Keep having fun! Love Nan and Gdadxxx
Emma Ouch, though I am glad to hear they are actually attempting to do something to help. I didn't like tomatoes before, now I like them even less! Had a good day today, it was a day off because there are no tomatoes to pick. We went to the pub to watch the Melbourne cup. My horse didn't win but I did win a free raffle and got $60 of vouchers for a butchers so had a big BBQ with everyone which was delicious, and free!!! Xxx
Frank & Val Not long till NZ !!..BBQ sounds good, Mo and I had a freebie day (courtesy of Virgin hospitality) to Wembley for american footie, Great day out. Keep sorting and sunning. Love Frank and Val
Emma Not long at all! Can't wait. Lucky you, that sounds great :) Will keep you updated when I'm in new Zealand!! Xxx
frank & val It's gone quiet in Bowen. Does this mean that a) tomatoes have won or b) the hangovers have won. Either way it won't be peeing down with rain or freezing cold, so enjoy. Luv V&F xx
