...Drinking. Swimming. Drinking. Beach. More drinking...
The weekend has been scorching and I've done my best to make the most of it by getting outside, being active and doing a spot of sunbaking. Headed down to Coogee Beach today to take in the sights and sounds of the seaside and had a wonderful day doing nothing recovering from the exploits of the weekend.
After a long week in the office some of my work mates and me hit a couple of bars in the CBD. We started off at the Roof Top in the Skygarden and then went onto Ryan's Bar at Australia Square. Both venues were focused on al fresco drinking and it was brilliant being outside enjoying the warm evening. Afterwards I met up with my mate Steve & a couple of his friends to carry on drinking until six in the morning.
Surprisingly after a few hours sleep I didn't have a hangover, I think my mates magical cups of tea sorted me out. (I really do miss having a brew over here as the tea bags aren't as strong as in England and don't taste quite the same so a decent cuppa is quite a novelty). Waking up in the blazing heat I thought I'd go try the outside pool in Prince Albert Park. I've started taking up swimming as part of my fitness regime and this was an ace way to enjoy the weather whist getting active.
Spent the rest of the day having a bit of a wander round the city and then last night headed over to my mate Dom's who I'd met whilst waitressing for a few. Was a nice evening getting to know some new people and drinking away until the early hours of the morning.
