Deb's Travels...
Captains Log. Star Date 30.05.2005
I keep saying it, and its getting old now I grant you, but really!?? Is May over already!!??? What is going on here!?
Its true time flies when you're having fun, or getting older....or something like that!
Anyway, a quick postie to explain the new piccies, I think they are fairly self explanitary.... Thomas May the Mayors Son has graced me with his presence this past week and so we ventured up to the sky tower to get a gander at Sydney by night, got some pretty cool photo's. It was cool, made my ears pop in the lift going up as it was soooo high, and when we stepped out of the lift it was a really lovely sight. Definatley a good idea to go up at night....Pretty lights and all that! It was cool to check out the city centre from a birds eye view, it actually seems a lot smaller when you look down on it like that... Doesn't seem that small when you're walking around it tho!!
We went over to Fox Studios on Saturday, where Tom had heard there was a guitar show on, it cost $12 to get in and we were completely shtiffed!! It was ok in there, def not worth paying for (hey Tom!??) but we did get to see some vintage geeetars as piccies suggest, and we had a browse around the shops at Fox Studios so not a completley wasted journey...
We then checked out Paddington Market where Tom got his Tarot cards read, and came to the conclusion that it is a croc of s***e.... whilst getting that done I was accosted by some crazy gypsey old lady palm reader who was telling me how all the other people were (expletive) criminals and that they sold drugs to children!?? Which was nice : /
We got some tasty thai food and Tom experienced chilly to the extreme! ha ha! Red eyes aka Anakin : )
We went to the 'footy' which is actually rugby, go figure, on Saturday night... It was reminiscant of going to the footy at home in the sense that it was rather cold and we needed to layer up!! Although the bonus at Aussie footy is that instead of hot choc or soup there is beer to warm you up! Did the trick nicely!! : )
The Sharks lost which is who we were supporting, but it was quite an exciting game, they were pretty close at the end (from what I can recall!) but not to worry! We had fun anyway...And the best part...the "up up cronulla!" song at the end was sung even tho they lost!
So thats it, still no jobski, hope all is well with everyone...
Over and out xxx
